My name is Debra Sykes, and I’m a committed follower of Jesus Christ and mother of one amazing son. Living in Las Vegas, Nevada, There is absolutely nothing special about me. For the past couple years it has been like the pulling of teeth to get my testimony out of myself. I have had it in my heart to share with anyone that was willing to listen, yet struggle to share. This struggle isn’t just about articulating it properly. It’s also about lacking discernment of when, where, and who to share it with. I recently watched a sermon. The Pastor spoke about having skin in the game. This blog, created through my own testimony, is my skin in the game for Jesus.
