My Beliefs:
-God [Psalms 90:2]
I believe in one god. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. He is one unified being with different roles and functions within that unity. I believe God is a god of people, meaning he is a personal god. He wants to be in a relationship with every single person. It does not matter what you have done. It also does not matter where you are in life. Without Judgment.
-Jesus [1 Corinthians 15:3-4]
I believe Jesus was fully man and is fully god, born through a virgin. I believe he walked the earth teaching, preaching, and performing miracles. I believe he died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. I believe after three days he rose again. He then walked the earth for 40 days. He was seen by 500 eyewitnesses. On the 40th day, he ascended to heaven. He now sits as a ruler next to the father [Matthew 1:22-23].
-Holy Spirit
The holy spirit is here in this world. He walks step by step with every one of us. He guides us through this world. He helps us in many different ways. Most importantly, he helps us come to Jesus. I believe that we can personally experience his presence
[John 16: 7-13].
-The Bible
I believe every word in the bible is true. That it was written by human authors through the supernatural of the holy spirit. I believe it is the supreme source of truth and a way of communication with the lord
[2 Timothy 3:26].
-Salvation
I believe that we are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ. It is a gift we receive from God and not something we earn through self-importance or good works [Ephesians 2:8-9].
-The Church
-I believe that the church is as stated in the bible. It is “the body of Christ” and described as the temple of the Holy Spirit. The church is made up of all people who have faith in Jesus and accept his gift of salvation
[1 Corinthians 12:27].
-I believe that the physical building of a church is where like-minded people can come together to worship. They can hear a message of God’s word. It’s a place to meet other believers for fellowship. People can grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible.
Not a place for the perfect—just the honest. We’re broken. But He walks with us. And that changes everything. We are all cracked, called, and carried by grace.
